The short answer is yes! |
No more uncertainty whether you have sufficiently filled in the bubble outline or the marked area is dark enough. With the onscreen, you just click and the bubble is marked. Erasures are even more problematic since the sensitivity of the scanner varies across the form. Again, with the onscreen, just click a marked bubble and it's gone! You get positive feed back both when you mark or erase a bubble. |
Since the onscreen knows all bubble positions, there is no possibility of marking outside the bubble outline or marking too lightly. Therefore, no misreads of of bubbles can occur with the OnScreen. With the scanner stray marks can be pickup as bubbles. Since adjacent bubbles are only .03 inches apart horizontally, its possible for a mark to spill into the next bubble with paper forms. If the paper form enters the scanner read head on an angle (called skew), the scanner can misread the marked bubble position. This cannot happen with paperless entry. |
The guide boxes make marking rows and columns of large arrays easier and more accurate. This is especially true on arrays that span the entire width of a page. |
You will never see the error box form ID invalid with the onscreen. That's because the onscreen knows which form you are marking. Unlike the paper forms, there are no form ID marks at the bottom of the form image. |
There are no mechanical or electronic parts in the onscreen to breakdown or fail. No lost days waiting for a replacement scanner to arrive. Remember you can run the OnScreen on all workstations in your office. |
You will never have paper jams with the OnScreen. |
